Why does my Purchase Request have Pending status?

If a Purchase Request has not yet been approved it will display the status of 'Pending'. You can try to contact the pending potential approver listed under the ‘Approvals’ field (left side of Purchase Request)
Click the 'Approval Status' button and a list of Approver(s) will be displayed, indicating who the purchase request is currently pending approval from
